This PCB I designed will power two 12v motorcycle fog lights equipped with both, built-in low beams and high beams. I use these from Custom Dynamics, PROBEAM® AUXILIARY LED HALO FOG LAMPS 20w and 1.6a each. http://tinyurl.com/26k49xct
This circuit also has the user's option to blink either the low beam or the high beam, or both, with the press of a "momentary on" push button switch, with a built-in LED indicator.
There is another momentary on switch "that acts like a latched switch in the Arduino script" to turn on the high beam fog lights, and keep them on, until pressed again. It also has a built-in LED indicator.
I made this for rider safety. I can blink the fog lights if I see a threat on the road, like a car ready to make a left turn in front of me, you always hear "I didn't see him" as an excuse after an accident. I feel this will increase my safety when riding my Harley on the road.
I live in Buffalo NY and never had a problem with blinking the lights from the Police. I even get thumbs up from the police and from Pedestrians too, even car drivers.
Your State may be different, so check the laws regarding blinking lights on a motorcycle in your State or Province if you live in Canada.
What's really special about this circuit is another option of turning on a Police light blinking sequence with just a "double click" of the high beam momentary on button switch.
After doing a double click the police light blinking sequence will start and will stay on until you do another double click to stop the police light sequence.
I ride with this police blinking sequence on all the time, "during daylight, not at night" and all is good, thumbs up from the cops and pedestrians, they all see me.
Also, another feature is a long press "2.5 seconds" on the high beam "momentary on" button, which will turn off all the fog lights, and another long press will turn back on the fog lights, but with just the low beam default fog light on, not the high beam.
So besides the fog lights, you will need two momentary-on 12mm button switches, with built-in LED indicators, I use a blue color LED for my blinking momentary-on switch and a red LED indicator for the high beam momentary-on button switch, your color choice of course. Please see my demo video on Youtube.
I also recommend you use JAE MX-1900 Series connectors male and female
