Excellent quality breakout board for GPIO using the Raspberry PI. Great for breadboarding projects!

This board is designed as a high-quality break-out board for the Raspberry Pi. Connect it to the GPIO on any model Pi and you will have a robust environment to start breadboarding projects. The GPIO header bay is designed with breadboard like spring loaded pins. Each pin connects to the GPIO on the PI. These high-quality spring connectors make it easy to reliably wire circuits. The labels are right next to each row making it easy to see the function of each pin.

This started as a circuit trainer for the University of Guelph students to wire projects with the Pi. It is designed to be durable for classroom use to endure years of use in a lab setting.

There are a number of components that are pre-grounded which can be connected directly to the GPIO pins using only one jumper cable. Making wiring easy as you start to experiment.

On the board you will find:

3 x LEDs (pre-grounded)
3 x Momentary Switch (pre-grounded)
2 x Potentiometers (pre-grounded)
1 x RGB LED (pre-grounded)
1 X Analog to digital converter (2-inputs pre wired)
1 x Light Sensor
1 X Temperature Sensor

Extras:

2 X GPIO ribbon cables (to connect to various Pi models)
20 x Jumper cables

These units are some extras that I produced. You can receive them at a fraction of their normal price! The high-quality header pins are fancy. So if you are looking for a board to experiment with when using the Pi this is a great-value durable option!
