Swiss Army Knife for Serial Debugging

I've used a handful of different USB-serial convertors over the years as in new product development as an embedded engineer; this is the best converter I've used. I will have something like 20 in my possession here soon. While Amazon has a plethora of devices that generally get the job done, the level of configurability is just not there.

With these devices, the ability to flip easily between 3.3VDC and 5 VDC logic as well as supplying and not supplying power has saved me headaches and allowed for simpler dev and test set ups. It's odd, but about half of my designs have PICs using a 5V supply and the other half is MSP430 and a whole bunch of M0/3/4 core ARM processors. Throwing a serial link or 2 on a board is automatic at this point, and I always have 1+ of these little guys handy.

One last note: if serial converters are understood, then documentation is not necessary. The board itself has enough information on it to pluggin and get chuggin.

A high quality serial converter that works very well.

I was struggling with a knock off Adriano UNO and other devices to flash ESP8266 boards.
This serial converter is well designed, supported AND from the USA!
