The power to the blinking snowy is from 1.65 V to 5.5 V. Usually 3.3V coin battery should be enough.
To look for a different way to blink the owl, I turned to ring oscillator. Instead of the usual hex inverter such as 74HC04, I found a dual-inverter NL27WZ04 from On Semiconductors. There is no gate unused.
The use of a dual-inverter NL27WZ04 within one square inch PCB plus a cute snowy owl design makes it unique.
