What is it?

A pair of cute snowy owls, one is blinking and the other a simple pin.
Both are Golden ENIG finish.
Both are about 1 inch in diameter.

There are two options of this soldering kit.

Usual SMD 0805 components with two through-hole LEDs
Tiny SMD 0201 components with two through-hole LEDs. All 6 resistors are in 0201 footprint.

The power to the blinking snowy is from 1.65 V to 5.5 V. Usually 3.3V coin battery should be enough.

Why did you make it?

To look for a different way to blink the owl, I turned to ring oscillator. Instead of the usual hex inverter such as 74HC04, I found a dual-inverter NL27WZ04 from On Semiconductors. There is no gate unused.
