A coin cell is used to supply 3V power. Multiple LEDs are used to display the output signal, so an oscilloscope is not required. The resistors used in the clock generator circuit have solder-able jumpers on the back of the PCB to change the range of the output frequency. The kit comes with 6 500 MOhm resistors, but you may replace them with your own to customize the frequency range.
The circuit is printed on a unique color of PCB, adding to visual appeal. The silkscreen is printed to provide some insight into the function of the circuit's components. Components are aligned to provide display-ability so the builder may showcase their work.
Coin cell battery not included.
