Description

This USB power cable borns from my need to power any Game Boy Color and Pocket from a 5V USB plug, like power banks, computers, wall adapters, etc... and save batteries in the process. The main problem is that Game Boy Color or Pocket can't be powered with 5V directly, therefore, it's necessary to lower the voltage. For that reason, this power cable has a voltage regulator built inside the USB plug.

Note: This USB to GB jack adapter doesn't charge the internal batteries, it's just power the device from the power jack bypassing the batteries.

Input voltage up to 6,5V and output current of 500mA.

Flawless GBP/GBC cable

The ordered cable for Gameboy Pocket / Color works perfectly and is a good alternative way of playing without the need of batteries (at home).
The cable is a bit short for what I expected (I did not read the description of its length, so it was my fault in first place), otherwise it is a great item. Shipping was fast and arrived in perfect condition. Thank you!

EDIT: a few days later my IPS screen(s) from an eBay retailer arrived and I can not stress enough HOW USEFUL this cable was while testing the "arrangement" of the screen! this way I did not have to close, put in and out batteries, and open the shell over and over again - just plug the cable into the motherboard and you can see and adjust the screen. I highly recommend this item for any retro mod.
