Introducing Twinkie's 2019 Holiday Ornament!

As 2019 comes to a close it's time once again for my annual Holiday Ornament to raise money for The Child's Play Charity.

All profits will be donated to the Child's Play Charity.

To ensure that as much money as possible goes to the Child's Play Charity, this year's PCB was sponsored by PCBWay.

About The Ornament

This year's ornament features "Santa Bot"! A 4 Layer PCB Robot that Sings to you via Piezo Buzzer. It sings 11 different songs:

We Wish You a Merry Christmas
Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer
Jingle Bell Rock
Jingle Bells
Let it Snow
O' Christmas Tree
Santa Clause Is Coming To Town
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

Of course they're all sung through its piezo buzzer so volume cannot be adjusted and neither can the annoyance level. Santa Bot is powered by a single CR2032 Battery which comes pre-installed.

About The Child's Play Charity

Child's Play was formed in 2003 and since then has been donating Video Games, Consoles, and Peripherals for Children Hospitals and Care Centers so that kids who find themselves in these places can play video games and have a chance to just be themselves.

Robotic Joy

It beeps classic Christmas tunes through a beautifully beepy, tinny speaker while the eyes flash to the music. Looks so cute that it's fun even when it's not playing the tunes. I'm going to keep it on my bookshelf all year. This ornament deserves better than 11 months in the attic. I for one wish our robot overlords a Merry Christmas.
