What is it?

This Board can be used to play retro games on a Composite video TV. It uses an Atmel AVR processor - the ATmega328 and outputs the composite video signal and sound through two RCA connectors. The board features expansion ports to connect Paddles or a Wii Nunchuk. Also, unused port pins are on a single inline connector for future upgrades.

Power can be applied through the 12v input dc jack or else through the USB mini-B. A terminal connector is featured on the back to connect the switches.

Board also features a reset switch and an inline in-circuit serial programming port for future software updates.

Why did you make it?

I always wanted to have a retro console to play these classic games. After releasing the Pong Board, I have had requests to add another console which can be used to play other games such as :

Space Invaders
Breakout
Pong - Tennis 2 paddles
Sudoku
And many others

What makes it special?

-9 to 12v DC Input / 5V usb Input - regulated Supply onboard

-Reset Switch

-6 pin Terminal connector for Arcade Mode & 2 x 3pin sil connectors for Joypad Board with UP,DOWN,LEFT,RIGHT,FIRE switch Buttons

-A/V Composite Output 1 vpp

-Mono Sound Channel Output

-Supports Wii Nunchuk, SuperNes / Analog Paddle with switch Connectors.

-Spare Pins Connector - for future upgrades

-In-circuit ISP Port - requires USB Serial Adapter

-Comes Pre-loaded with a Game - Select from the Order menu - additional games in my GitHub.

-High Score save into EEPROM

-ATmega328 microcontroller with Arduino bootloader clocked at 16Mhz

-Resolution is 136×96 pixels (User Selectable from Code)

Requires 9V - 12v or USB 5V power supply
