What is it?

A board for exploring building battery-powered IoT devices using ClojureScript.

• Supports a live REPL from your computer
• Powered by either USB or lipo battery
• Recharges lipo battery when USB is connected
• Status indicators: connection, read, eval, print
• 3 onboard LEDs (red, green, blue) and 6 ESP32 GPIOs
• Provides 3.3 V powering modest side loads
• Hosts an ESP32 WROVER with 8 MiB SPIRAM and 16 MiB flash

Note: This particular board is not required to run a ClojureScript REPL. Any ESP32 WROVER with 8 MiB SPIRAM and 8 MiB flash works.

Why did you make it?

To explore building IoT devices with ClojureScript.

A talk making use of this board was presented at Clojure/north 2020 (included at bottom of description). The board is discussed on this episode of Apropos also with Chris Gammel on the Contextual Electronics Podcast.
