Excellent idea!

I do a lot of microcontroller programming, both in circuit and on breadboards/dev boards. This has saved me so much time and trouble that I honestly can't believe how I've gotten along without it.

I had a few rough spots, but Roey was right there with support, returning emails quicker than I could have expected for paid support! Roey kept working on my issue even after I had given up on it.

If you do a lot of programming like me, get this! Or a few!

Nice DIY hat

Just tested this using an old ATM328 I had previously used for an 8x8led cube, performed an erase and flash cycle to the blink example flawlessly.
I need to tinker with the profiles in LEMPA, but that can wait until I receive the batch of ESP8266's from Ali.

Came with a Fidget logic toy, which was neat (I gave it my mum who's learning to program using micro python during lockdown).

Would recommend if you tinker with multiple types of uC

I've just received the board ( local postal services move at a snails pace ).
Haven't had the opportunity to try it out yet, as I've just opened the package, but I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the extra gift in the form of an LEMPA Zero board - a smaller form factor of the hat for the pi zero :)
It's lacking the header pins and LCD display, but I believe it to work without the display - tbd

In regards to the 4* Documentation: haven't gotten the chance to test the product out yet, but as far as I've looked at the documentation, I've yet to completelym-am understand how to use the board. Maybe once I've started it up, it will be more clear, but at the moment, I think a couple of configuration examples could be saved on git for future users, maybe even some youtube links for visual+verbal explaining of what is expected to be used where.

Later edit: I have increased the Documentation rating to 5* after a short discussion with Roey that cleared all my questions.
