Bottom board for DUB DMB-4764 DIN and Raspberry Pi Zero or Zero W

This board was designed to fit in a BUD DMB-4774 DIN case which is a case designed to fit in industrial control cabinets attached to a DIN rail. The board is setup to take a Raspberry Pi Zero or Zero W and to provide a large prototype area around the Pi. It will accommodate both standard 5.08mm screw terminal or 5.08mm pluggable right angle screw terminals. It includes a 20-pin riser connector to connect it to a top board in the same case if you choose to do that.

I am an artisan maple syrup maker and have been using Arduino ProMini boards as controllers and ESP32 boards as WiFi helpers to control my maple syrup system. I've grown to the point where I wanted a true industrial control running my system but off-the-shelf PLCs are expensive. I wanted a solution that looked professional but that gave me the flexibility to tinker. This board was one of two that I came up with to achieve that goal.

This is the only board that I'm aware of designed specifically for both the BUD case and the Raspberry Pi Zero and Zero W. It lets you build a professional looking custom controller or PLC.

NOTE: This product includes the bottom board and six small spacer boards for the screw terminals only. The BUD case and the screw terminals are not included. Both are available from Mouser and other distributors and I can provide a list of part numbers.

If you don't want to use a pluggable connector you can also use regular 5.08mm (0.2") screw terminals. You can use ganged 2- and 3-pole connectors or you can use a 9-pole connector like this.
