Jormungandr is a sequencer designed for live or jaming studio purpose, specially for rythms patterns.

It have :

one clock input,

one reset input,

two buttons for the pattern lenght (8-16-24-32 steps),

one button to enable writting pattern,

one button to enable erasing pattern,

four buttons for record, one for each chanel

four trig outputs.

The module have no memory : you turn it off, you sequence dissapear. It could be clocked with asynchronous clock to make the rythm become groovy or totally erratic. Changing pattern lenght doesn't affect the played step. It's a prototype, which means that there is a few improvements to do : The lenght buttons are very sensitives, sometime you can jump to the upper step by pushing only once. But considering that the pattern lenght doesn't affect the played step, it's not a big problem.

10hp, 3U, 40mA +12V, 20mA -12V I sell it with M3 screws for wooden panel and a manual with functionnal diagram.

The module is based on nordic mythology : Jormungandr is the giant snake who is surrounding the world, at ragnarok he'll eat all the gods.

This module is an instrument, I designed it to make my own music at first, and I sell it now after improved its operation. I designed electrical part on Kicad, but I let the firm Aisler etching the PCB for professionnal rendering. Same thing for the panel, designed on InkScape and personnal drawings and made in wood by professionnal. I assemble them with classics component to make modification easier for customers, and let some hacking trails in the design for people who want more.
