What is it?

Bootstrap is a small breakout board that allows you to access the Reset, Bootloader, and Ground pins of an ESP32 or S2 module in one bus.

Why did you make it?

I made this because one of my ESP boards is Arduino form factor and the display shield covers the DFU button. This breakout allows me to get the pins I need directly. It also goes great with the remote boot switch I made, The Doof!

What makes it special?

This breakout allows you to easily reset ESP modules remotely, even from another microcontroller. You don’t have to take up header slots to gain access to these pins or push tiny buttons. It can even work as a press fit with no soldering in the case of the ESP32S2.

The board ships with 3 male header pins.
