This is a 3D WiFi-enabled LED Christmas Tree Kit made out of PCBs you can solder at home. The addressable APA106-F5 LEDs are controlled by an ESP8266 D1 Mini, which also allows the Tree to be IoT ready. The tree can display a variety of effects that can be controlled using a button. It is powered via USB, so you can also power it with a powerbank. You can use it as a Christmas decoration and it is a really unique gift. A must-have for electronics lovers!
A few years back I made a small Christmas Tree out of APA106 LEDs and some wire. I liked it so much that I wanted to make an easier-to-build version of it using PCBs.
