The 8BitM8 is a bit-crusher pedal inspired by the tonal qualities of vintage samplers, MPCs and the love of lo-fi sounds. This is a complete kit to make your own 8BitM8 effects pedal, with various purchase options.

Choose to purchase the PCB only, the PCB and components or the full kit with knobs, jack sockets and Arcade Button. The full kit includes:

• PCB
• Pre-programmed Atmega Chip
• All diodes, capacitors and resistors
• All Potentiomers (1 trimmer)
• Op-Amp IC, Voltage Regulator, Relay and Transistor
• All LEDs and housings
• A toggle switch
• Equipment wire in 3 colours
• Arcade Button (choose Yellow, Green, Blue, Red, White, Black, Grey, Pink and Black & White on ordering)
• Audio and power sockets
• 3 Potentiometer caps

Nuts and fittings for all ordered sockets will be included. You will need a soldering iron, solder and some wire clippers to complete the build. This is a fairly simple build, with nothing small or complicated to solder - however it's probably not suited for beginners.

Note that whichever option you choose, you will need to source your own enclosure. I recommend using the Hammond 1590S, a natural die cast aluminium enclosure which measures 110.5 x 81.5 x 44mm. Whatever enclosure you choose, it should be no smaller than these dimensions.
