What is it?

The UV Blaster 30 KIT drastically speeds up print jobs for the Elegoo Saturn resin 3D printer. The kit contains 3 pre-wired UV-boards. Each board emits 30+ Watts of curing UV-light (total ~ 100 Watts). The original UV-boards inside the Saturn emit roughly a combined total of 45 Watts. In other words, this kit is more than doubling the UV curing-power.

Note : This upgrade-kit requires a different power adapter (more power), which is >not< included. The datasheet below, provides info about what power adapter to use.

Why did you make it?

The Elegoo Saturn is a great resin 3D-printer. However, I would love to shorten the process of printing 3D-models. This upgrade kit enables this and solves an electronic design-flaw (i.e. eliminating the inverterboard).

Additional features

• Saturn and Saturn S. This kit will fit both model resinprinters.
• Response time. Skipping inverterboard = more accurate on/off times.
• Thermal heat-transfer. Smart designed boards and super conductive thermal grease = good heat-transfer to heatsink.
• Efficiency. White boards = better reflecting UV-light to crank up efficiency even more.
• More internal space. Removing inverterboard/bracket = more space inside machine. Freed space can be used for i.e. additional internal fans.
• Running at 24V DC. Avoiding harmfull current spikes = happy operating MOSFETs.
• Happy LEDs. UV-LEDs operated at safe ratings = longer lifespan.
• Fool proof. Reversed polarity protection = no damage to UV Blaster 30 kit or machine.

The upgrade is pretty straight forward. The manual includes info about the UV Blaster 30 KIT. A very detailed step-by-step instruction can be found, including images. Update

A few additional tools are now included in this kit (per March 14th) : extended legs and fan-module. The manual is updated, which includes installation for these items also.
