Read More…It's an LED tester! You can supply it from USB, a 2032 cell, or another external source (via pin header) and place a surface mounted LED on it to figure out its polarity. A set of different pads are available, all connected to different current limiting resistors, so you can use it to figure out how much current you need to achieve a certain brightness.
I wanted to design a simple board to practice assembly of 0201 components and figure out the effect of moonphase on tombstoning. See the hackaday project for more!
