This CAT5/6/7 Ethernet cable puller is designed to help you get a cable out, or a replacement cable in, without breaking off the RJ45 connector tab. Helps the cable and connector slip past a bundle, or entanglement, of other cables.

For obvious reasons, you should always used tape (electrical tape recommended) to affix the actual cable to the tapered end of this puller, this avoids unnecessary strain on the wires in the RJ45 crimp connector that could lead to broken connections.

• For non-strain relief cables, the RJ45 end seats within the grooves
• For cables with molded strain relief plastic, the taper holds the strain relief snug
• For cables with an overmould strain relief boot, pull that off the RJ45 end, seat the bare RJ45 end in this puller, then slide the boot back up to the end of this puller and cover with tape
• Place cable in either position; tab down (within the internal channel) or tab up
• Works with cables up to 8mm thick
