The Backstory

The eChallengeCoin has become an annual event, starting with the inaugural version in 2020. I work on ideas throughout the year - coming up with new interactive challenges and writing a new installment from the Adventures of Sara Cladlow story challenge series.

Months of design and planning go into the annual eChallengeCoin. It's exhausting but I really like the challenge (pun?).

Fun in a Little Package

The 2023 eChallengeCoin is about the size of a traditional challenge coin and is designed to be carried around in a pocket. It's just 47mm in diameter and the case only adds 7mm. It fits easily in a pocket and it is also worthy of display. It is very energy efficient and will run off a single standard CR2032 coin battery for several weeks.

For 2023 we have Sara and the Saint where she is off to Martinique to recover documents stolen from a private storage facility. Along the way she manages to squeeze in some sand, sun, and local beer ... lots of beer!

The story is accessed through the coin's serial connection - using the standard 0.1" pin connector near the bottom. The connector uses staggered pins so you won't the need to solder!

International Shipping

Shipping rates and destination tax codes are becoming an issue. Please understand we are unable to collect VAT for UK and EU countries and it may be levied at the destination country. We are also worried about the new packaging regulations for Germany and other EU countries. We may need to suspend shipping to those destinations.
