Read More…Evolution takes different paths. The first generation of Mayhem for Flipper Zero, which remains an excellent choice, showcased a clever and compact form factor with dual headers, enabling the camera to be flipped. Additionally integrated ALMOST-everything in one board, including a small section for sensors: This was good for prototyping, but on the field, many users would prefer to have more functionality on-board.
Mayhem v2 is the solution: ESP32, BLE, Camera, Flashlight, Micro-SD plus an extra module depending on the side connected to your flipper: NRF24l01 (sniffing and mousejacking) or CC1101 (external radio).
Version | Release | Details |
---|---|---|
v2.0.7 | sept 2024 | Tighter holes to ease soldering. Not related to the PCB but: external antenna now offered for ESP32CAM when ordering |
v2.0.4 | oct 2023 | Small changes on the silkscreen to make it more obvious which module is the active |
v2.0 | ago 2023 | No more module swap, removed the prototyping area to add a secondary external module header |
No more module confusion, it already includes everything.
Mayhem, not to be confused with Portapack Mayhem, but from the same family, represents the idea to provide a colaborative environment where people contribute with the development of the board.
You can make your own or support the project buying a kit or assembled unit. This helps to make more apps and extend the functionality of the board.
If you ordered an assembled one (like Essentials or Deluxe Ultimate), you just need to prepare your Flipper Zero, simply follow https://flipper.ried.cl/webinstaller ignoring the firmware upload part (you can do this too, to update the firmware in the future).
In case you ordered the El Cheapo (KIT) you need to assemble it first. Check the documentation in the link at the bottom.
If you have extra PCBs or you are making your own, you will need to buy your own components:
Extra modules (header):
NRF24l01 (module) (alternative: w/SMA antenna) (alternative: w/IPX antenna interface)
CC1101 (w/coil antenna) (alternative: w/SMA antenna)
Extra pins for connecting sensors and prototyping: any 3 pin sensor, 3V or 5V with any pin order can be connected easily
Sleek & flip-able PCB module for your Flipper Zero (header (reverse)) (capacitor)

Your package will be dropped off at the post office on the next business day after it is marked as shipped. During weekends, packages may be held at the post office until Monday, even if they were initially dropped off on Saturday morning.
If your shipment doesn't have a tracking code, there might be an extra delay. Estimated delivery times for Europe range from 1 to 4 weeks, depending on your proximity to Norway. For Asia, it typically takes 3 to 6 weeks. If you're in the US or Canada, expect a delivery time of 2 to 5 weeks. For other regions, it can take between 2 to 6 weeks, according to the distance from Norway.
If you do not pick your package, or the provided address is wrong, on some scenarios it will return to me and I can ship it again for a new fee. However, the postal office charges around $35 USD if is a tracked package for concepts of "Return".
Given that each package is crafted by hand, I cannot accept returns. Most items have their parts documented and are open source, so this store is just to provide extra help for people who do not want to tinker themselves with the assembly. There is no warranty on components for self-assembled kits. For fully assembled units, thorough testing is conducted to ensure functionality before shipping. Regarding manufacturing defects, I provide a three-month (90 days) window from the date of package receipt for coverage.
If you need to cancel or modify an order, please reach out to me immediately. Orders typically require several days to assemble, as this is only a hobby of mine and occupies my afternoons, so even if it has not been shipped, part of the process could be already be in progress.
