What is it?

This is a custom controller for the midTbot. It provides all the features you need and looks super clean.

Why did you make it?

The midTbot is a pen drawing machine. It can use a variety of CNC controllers, but it begged for a custom controller to complete the clean and elegant look. There are more details on this blog post and this Thingiverse thing.

What makes it special?

This controller screws right to the top on the middle carriage. It provides the cleanest possible controller, while still using standard modules. It supports Bluetooth and USB. The only external connection you need is 12V power.

Features

• (2) Motor Driver Sockets. The output connectors are placed right next to the motors.
• Arduino Nano Socket
• Bluetooth Socket. For use with low cost HC-05 or HC-06 modules.
• 5V power supply.
• Homing Switches. These are strategically located on the controller to actuate off machine points. No wiring required.
• Servo Connector. This is perfectly located to keep that connection clean and tangle free.

Note: The Stepper Driver Modules, Arduino Nano and Bluetooth Modules are not included
