What is it?

This is a controller for a midTbot. A midTbot is a tiny pen plotter. You can control it via USB, Bluetooth or Wifi. There are a lot more details on this GitHub repo. Note: This is only the controller, you must supply the rest of the midTbot.

Why did you make it?

The design is open source. I made the controller available to save you the trouble of ordering PCB and soldering surface mount parts.

What makes it special?

The midTbot is small enough to carry in your backback. It looks cool and is fun to watch.

What do I get with the kit?

You get a PCB will all surface mount parts soldered. You also get all the through hole parts, but you must solder them in yourself. There is a growing community to help you. Help is available via the GitHub issues, a Slack community and via email. You will get a Slack invite with your order or if you message me.

What does the customer need to supply?

If you do not select the option for the ESP32 and motor drivers, you need to supply an ESP32 development module and some StepStick stepper drivers. There are details on the GitHub repo.

Note: All profits from the ESP32 program are donated to the Grbl_ESP32 project.

Arrived in good time

Small mix up with some parts missing, but was resolved quickly. Friendly service and all parts arrived in good time. Parts appear to be of a high quality.

Great Product a very small lack of communication

Great Product, but in my opinion it would be better if the seller explained some questions better. A Link to the Documentation is sometimes not enough.

Amazing little plotter!

I am in love with my midTbot esp32! This little guy was fun to build and easy to source parts for. I have it drawing all kinds of things but mainly art to gift to friends. The ability to control via WiFi is really a great feature, I can drop files over WiFi to the SD card and completely control it with the built is esp3D interface. This is not just a plotter but a whole ecosystem of grbl on the esp32. Favorite project I have completed this year, hands down. Thanks Bart!
