These hold an elastic strap via a living-hinge latch, so you can adjust harness strap length & tension in front without fiddling with slide buckles or dismounting the harness and other equipment and clothing. They may also be used for a variety of other applications, with any elastic up to 1.5" wide (depending on thickness), if you order the "Clip & Post" option.¹ Will NOT work with inelastic / nylon webbing.

CAUTION: Note that there are multiple ordering options. "Clip Only" does not include any posts or post-screws. "Post Only" includes only the posts and post screws (for people also ordering a replacement chestplate, or building projects with multiple attachment points). Do not force the clip latch open past the motion-limiting tabs - the latch opens to only the bare minimum necessary to accomodate the elastic strap. Attaching the clips is easiest if you initially feed only one corner of the strap end, and pull (rather than push or feed) the remainder through.

¹ Included screws are specific to soft polyurethane, and extend only approx. 5mm beyond the post bottom face (they do not extend out of the rear face of the chestplate when mounted) - you may need to supply your own for any use other than their expressly designed application.
