FM (frequency modulated) MIDI synthesizer with controls for modulation effects, tone shaping and note length. Photocell sensors can be used for Theremin-like control, using a light source to change the sounds.

This module can be used with any MIDI keyboard or MIDI software (on Mac or pc), it receives MIDI note messages on MIDI channel 0.

As an alternative to commercially made synth modules, this module creates a wide range of new, experimental sounds with alternative controls, (i.e, Photocell sensors) not usually available in commercial products.

Creates experimental sounds that can be fine tuned while playing, like an analog synthesizer. Can be used with any MIDI software (Mac or pc) such as Ableton and Pure Data, or a common MIDI keyboard with MIDI TX (MIDI output).

Uses 9V battery or 7-9V power adapter (500mA-1000mA) with a standard 2.1mm positive center plug.
