Read More…RGB Matrix Dock Rev.1 is an RGB LED matrix board designed to be used with the METE HOCA Akana R1 by attaching it to the board. The Dock features 40 WS2812 series addressable LEDs arranged in an 8×5 configuration.
The Dock uses the structure of Adafruit's NeoPixel Shield, designed for the Arduino Uno, and can be coded in the exact same way. For easy coding and animations, Adafruit's NeoMatrix Arduino library can be utilized.
RGB Matrix Dock Rev.1 is equipped with a 5-volt input and a source-selecting MOSFET circuit, allowing it to be powered by an external power supply in case of high power demands.
