The 320k RAM memory upgrade plugs into an expansion slot on the 1090XL or 1091XL and upgrades your computer to 64k of main memory plus 256k of extended memory.

With this upgrade, many programs that can be ran on the Atari 130XE will now run on your Atari XL computer. This upgrade will also provide enough memory for many newer programs, games (such as Prince Of Persia), and SpartaDOS X.

Two options exist for this card:

1) RAM Disable Feature. This option should be configured unless you are purchasing this card for an original 1090XL. Enabling this option gives other 1090XL and 1091XL cards the ability to map memory for their own use.

2) PBI Memory. This option provides additional memory from $D600-$D7FF for PBI devices. This option should not be selected if you have a VBXE or U1MB installed in your Atari computer. Some future cards, or card options, may utilize this memory.

Both of these options can be enabled or disabled by two solder jumpers on the card.

This item is hand assembled on an as-needed basis and may require up to several days until it can be shipped.

Please note that an Atari 130XE will require either an internal jumper to be added to the ECI port or an Atari 130XE Compatibility Board in order to use this memory expansion. Also, this memory expansion will disable the Atari 130XE's ANTIC banking capability.

Please also note that one of the pictures shows the 320k board installed in a 1090XL board. The 1090XL board is not included.
