This is a modern reproduction of the Happy Warp 1050 Version 7.1. This board will increase the speed of read and write operations with your Atari 1050 disk drive. No soldering is required to install a board that comes with the CPU installed.

If your Atari operating system has been upgraded with HIAS HSSIO, I/O speeds of approximately 52k bits per second are possible.

The linked instructions show a version of the Happy Enhancement that does not have the hole for the crystal clearance. Make sure you install this Happy Enhancement Reproduction with the crystal aligned with the hole.

A reduced price version of this board is available that comes without the CPU. This will allow you to install your own CPU. If you would like to use the W65C02 CPU, you will need to set the appropriate solder jumpers on the underside of this board.
