Fantastic! Super cute and accurate GPS device!

I opened the packet and switched it on. Even in my home it connected to the appropriate satellites within a minute. Good quality components, thoughtfully put together combined with well written software. What's not to like. I got the blue/yellow screen with 3d printed enclosure so is super cute. Get one!

Turned up today, no damage, works a treat, hard to see in da

Hi, the GPS cube ( and the Arduino programmer turned up today. Works a treat, umm, it's cute! Only pro is it is hard to see in daylight - it seems it needs to be mounted in a dark plastic tube or a hood, perhaps, to enable it to seen outside - inside: brilliant! If I can get around the daylight problem, yes I will buy more of them.
I would probably get 2 or 3, and mount them side by side to be be able to see all the displayed info, without having to use the little switch on the side to cycle through each of the modes.

Thank you for your great review and I am glad you like it.

If you do decide to get more let me know and I could do a custom version for you using 1.3" displays and the double frame for example. With that you could mount them easier as double, tripple or even a quadruple display, by mounting the single and or double frame next to each other. The 1.3" display will also be better visible outside.

Amazing product.

I was surprised by the little size of the product, it's whorks very well and with im i have compared the difference between the smartphone GPS and your product the results for me the smartphone (S8 ➕) it's exactly the same speed and one more thing about your product, it faster than the smartphone.

The product was sending into a very good packaging, with a lot of protection for the product.
It's started very quickly and i love it, it's a beautiful objets, and with a very fast response.
Just after Christmas i will be the owner of a 3D printer, i will try to make a small box for it, like this, when you driving in the night they're is less luminosity of it.
For me it's a very beautiful object, very small and simple to use, you have gold in your hands, you can make so many little things, and they are not a gadgets, they are all a very good fonction.
Please continue to create some new products.
The only request i have to make, they are not a little paper for explaining the fonction of the product.
But if i take the time to watch your videos and try it on the product i hope have understanding, all i need.
I think is not the last product, i will buy to you.

My next new product, the OLEDiTREK will be the top of all my work so far and even it is not released yet I made it even better by adding many new functionalities. Maybe it will interest you too :-)

You are correct, a little manual would be good, I just never got around to make one, but I will do so in the near future.

OLEDiUNO GPS Cube

I bought this because of the compact form factor, quality of display and features, I wanted a quick solution to Track Heading and Ground Speed, that it could be positioned within the sight line allowing the information to be available with a quick glance.

So the chance to buy a complete unit with these features at this price point is impressive, while I investigated various components and kits I did not want to spend six plus months to bring it all together so this was a much better option.

Before ordering I had a couple of questions and the response was fast, I needed a slight change request instead of MPH use KTS which was confirmed so I placed an order.
The Item arrived very well packaged and on unboxing was impressed with the attention to detail and build quality.
On powering on it works flawlessly and the controls and functions are very intuitive I did have to check the YouTube video on how to change the time zone.

The screen option I chose was Blue and Yellow, the visibility in all conditions is very good, the quality is excellent and very legible.
Here is where the OLED comes in if In strong direct sunlight you angle slightly its perfectly legible.
Powering on the GPS unit acquires satellites quickly and was surprised that it worked in doors where my Garmin had not.
Moving between pages is easy with a flick of the side controller. all data speeds track alt are as you would expect very accurate.

The battery power is displayed and on my initial outing I used it continuously for a couple of hours and it was still going strong.
Recharging is simple.

What would I Improve - I would like to see a mode where the track bearing is displayed using the large format numbers.
Don’t forget this is Arduino based and packs a lot in already so if that came at the cost losing a page like time or trip personally I would.

I will try to implement your suggestion that you had in our messages. Maybe I can come up with a solution geared towards pilots as yourself.

Actually, I am thinking about a new PCB geared towards the GPS only. I do have a new GPS module on the way, that will also be used in the OLEDiTREK, that is smaller and uses less current.

That would give me also the opportunity to maybe add a temperature, pressure and humidity sensor along the GPS module while increasing battery life.

It is always fun for me to design a new PCB just takes time to do it and to wait for the PCB's to be fabricated.

works like a charm

Bought this together with the oleduino clock. Obviously this is more a toy than a tool, but VERY cool nonetheless.

Some minor things: you can move forward between screens, but not backwards. You also cannot erase your saved waypoint, only overwrite with another. Nearly impossible to build into a case as the controls would be inaccessible. Even so, this is really nitpicking, because I absolutely love it.
Display is very clear, lots of info is displayed, GPS clock, position, saved position, direction, distance travelled both overall and per trip, speed, nr of GPS satellites received etc. Amazing for this tiny size.
The craftsmanship is extremely good. I can only imagine doing this tiny soldering work!

Quick service also from the seller. All questions I had by email were answered almost instantly.

Highly recommended.

Thank you for your review, I greatly appreciate it. Glad that you like it so much, you won't believe after all this time I still don't have one for myself, as soon as I make one it gets sold, which is a good thing I guess :-)

I am getting into 3D printers soon and will offer some type of enclosure for the GPS. I have something in mind that will allow it to be mounted in a GoPro Session frame and with hundreds of mounting possibilities it will make my GPS Cube more functional, protected against drops and be super easy to mount to anything where you want to use it. You can even put it in a water proof GoPro Session case to have it protected to the max and having it waterproof at the same time, motorcycle comes to mind :-)

For the stereo spectrum analyzer, you can just order 2 of them, I do have a small discount, and leave a note that it is for stereo use.

Very happy with the GPS CUBE. I'm planning to purchase more.

Very pleased with the OLEDiUNO GPS Cube. Worked fine anywhere in my house, locking on 6 to 8 GPS satellites without difficulty.
Extremely well built. Received the product quickly and it was very thoughtfully packaged. I will most likely purchase more of Hayri's electronic creations.
