My Brain-In-A-Jar Project

We need a 16bit processor, so here is the Retroshield 68008:

68008 running at 8MHz (optionally 10Mhz or 12MHz if chip is rated)
uses wait states for memory & IO accesses so 68k executes instructions at full speed.
Clock freq can be adjusted up or down via software.
Works with both Arduino Mega 2560 or Teensy adapter (lots of RAM)

You can play with these three platforms:

Motorola M68000 Educational Board (ECB) w/ TUTORBUG monitor - includes assembler and disassembler!
Steve's 68KATY SBC, running a modified version of Wichit Sirichote's open source monitor code
uClinux using RAM disk, thanks to Steve at https://www.bigmessowires.com/. (This requires Teensy adapter kit due to memory requirements.)
