You can find an upgraded version of the original 3D-printed ducts in Brian Moses's Tindie store. He combined his original 3D model with the upgrades I made to the brackets for my carbon fiber design.
I don't know the correct etiquette here. I am going to hit the button to retire this product, but I also know there are links around the Internet pointing to this product page. I don't want everyone to hit a dead end, so I am going to leave this up for a while so people don't lose this trail of breadcrumbs!
What is it?
My friend Brian generously gives away a custom NAS box twice a year. He was unhappy with the air flow in the Silverstone DS380B case. It has two large fans pointed right at the drive cage, but there's a huge gap on the side, and that gap is the path of least resistance for the air.
No more 3D printed duct faces!
These ducts are CNC cut from sheets of 1mm thick carbon fiber. It is the same stuff I use on my FPV miniquads. It is sturdy stuff, and it can take a beating!
The carbon fiber ducts are attached to your 120mm case fan using 3D printed brackets.

Great replacement for DIY cardboard
My drives were running around 50c even while idle. With this AND high speed delta fans my temps across all 8 drives are constantly 27c.

Pretty cool, easy to break, too tall for thicker fans
My drives run ~10C cooler with the ducts in place, although my MB now runs ~3C hotter since the air passing over it is now passing over the drives first. I'd consider this a perfectly fine trade off.
I have the "Nidec Servo Gentle Typhoon D1225C12B5AP 120mm 1850 rpm Silent Case Fan" and I found I had to manually trim about 1cm off the top of the duct for the drive bay to still fit in the case with the duct in place. You could probably make the ducts that much shorter by default to accommodate more fan types and still get good results with thinner fans and the small gap.
One of the screw holes on each duct broke while I was attaching them to the fans. This was probably because I had to remove the ducts to trim them and that added extra stress to the bracket. I'd suggest future printings to add more thickness to those areas.

The product serves intended function of increasing airflow, however the screw holes are not perfectly aligned and is brittle, easy to break if screwing in too tightly
