Previous buyers of the TGA Pro for Teensy 3.X with 48-pin socket now have the ability to use Teensy 4.0 and Teensy 4.1 with the hardware they already own!

This adapter converts the Teeny 3.X pinout to Teensy 4.X. The kit includes the following:

• a adapter with 48-pin male 28-pin female headers installed

• 4x6mm standoff extensions

• one blank adapter PCB

NOTE: due to the reduced pin count of the Teensy 4.0, only MEM0 is usable by Teensy 4.X devices. All other features including the Expansion Board are supported. Please refer to the datasheet schematic for details.

The socket adapter lets you switch between your Teensy 3.X and Teensy 4.X processors without the need for any soldering. This increases overall product height slightly so standoff extensions are included.

The extra blank PCB (included) will let you achieve a low-profile height by soldering a Teensy 4.X directly to the blank PCB, then soldering male pins to plug into the TGA Pro. This significantly reduces the increased height compared to the no-solder "dual socket" solution.
