Worked perfectly right out of the box.

It is a well built product, and requires very little effort to get it set up for use. I think it is a great product at a good price!

Many Stencils smaller than the listed max size will not fit

I received this product and it is built very well. It describes a maximum size stencil that it will accomodate but not the minimum size. I produce some very small boards and when I tried to adapt the stencil to it there were interferences such that I could not put the bottom clamp on the stencil. The wing nuts on the bottom hit the base. It actually appears that there are a limited number of sizes that WILL fit the SP2421. Should your stencil fit it is probably a very good product.

My stencil is 5" x 4" . It took me a long time to figure out how to place the stencil so the wing nuts would not hit the base. I finally had to give up and could only attach it from the top of the stencil . I really couldn't use it this way so it is virtually useless to me. If there were more gaps or deeper grooves in the metal on the base, one could probably strategically place the wing nuts to fit down in the gaps.

The construction is nice and very sound. I think you need to let customers know about this problem so they won't buy the product hoping any size stencil no greater than the size you specify will work, because they just won't due to this interference problem.

Maybe I am doing something wrong but I don't think so. Please correct me if I am wrong.

You are right, there is a minimal lenght of the stencil, it is specified in the fist bullet point of the description: printing area: 245x210 mm (max stencil size 210x300 mm, minimal lenght 170 mm). It's simple, it's amazing.

It's easy to use, the manual is the right size and with pictures ,the materials are excellent, it's heavy i love it,i use it for low quantity production, it's great for hobbyists and prototyping.
The shipping was real fast and the seller responded to all my questions.

CYBRES SP2421 seems great for the price.

We have not used it extensively, yet, but it does exactly what we expected it to do. For metal stencils, it seems great for the price.

I have no idea how well it would work for Kapton stencils.

Notes: It's a little tricky if your stencil is too small, so give yourself some extra play. Also, we would recommend that you add the bolt holes into your stencil. If you just get a stencil as an add-on when your order PCBs, they will not create the holes. You will need to do this later, and drilling/punching your stencil will not be as accurate as just having them done during the laser cutting process.
