What is it?

High-Performance 40 Watt Audio Power Amplifier w/Mute working on a single supply. The PCB is soldered and tested. It is suitable for DIY Audio amplifier project.

Why did you make it?

I am Audio freak. I was impressed by the LM2876 parameters. The chip is pin compatible with LM3886, but the SNR of LM2876 is better. There are lot of designs and PCB's available based on LM3886, but the majority of them require dual supply. The designed by me amplifier works on single supply and has the possibility to connect "Mute" switch. I did not omit all required and optional parts, which normally are thrown away in the most PCB's offered in the online shops.
