What is it?

1) Easily surface mount a sensor or switch on the outside of any project enclosure 2) Create harness plug-in/disconnection points for all sorts of harness connectors 3) Turn board-mount components into panel mount components 4) Use the Proto-Plug as a small sealed case for tiny boards

Why did you make it?

The world of DIY electronics is filled with thousands of uniquely shaped connectors, switches and sensors. Creating/modify your project's enclosures to have these items panel mounted can be bothersome if you don't have access to a shop with proper cutting tools. The Proto-Plug allows you to surface mount a wide array of odd shaped components simply by drilling a round hole in your project's enclosure.

What makes it special?

As far as I know, The Proto-Plug is the first of its kind.

What is included in one unit?

Ever unit includes: 1 Black PCB Disk Mount, 1 PCB Disk, 16 Extended Length Male Header Pins. (Red box shown in pic is not included)
