A Simple DMX Control Shield for Arduino

What it is:

SimpleDMX is a stripped down arduino shield that gives you everything you need to start controlling your projects with DMX and nothing more. It uses a SN75176BP IC to give you rock solid signal.

We decided to create the SimpleDMX after trying to find a shield like it, most come with added SD card slots or other addons that you may not want and just add to the cost, some places charging over $50!

We only use the best quality connectors, so your shield will have the best connection and signal.

How to use it:

This listing is for a 3 way screw terminal connection, separate listings are available for 3 pin and 5 pin connections.

The SimpleDMX has only 5 easy through hole components to solder, thats all you need to do to get the shield up and running.

You select what pin it uses to communicate and your all set, I use the great arduino library "DMX Simple" from tinker.it, it lets you start controlling moving lights and smoke machines in seconds!
