Read More…This is a prototyping board for developing DMX-based Arduino shields. It consists of a MAX485-based receiver, RJ45 connectors and a large prototyping area for building your own circuits.
This is a PCB only; You'll need the following additional components: - Arduino Duemilanove headers (2x 8-pin, 2x 6-pin) - 8-pin DIL socket - MAX485 RS485 decoder - 2-pin header and jumper - 2x 10k resistor - 2 RJ45 sockets (see included footprint description)
The library for this shield, along with a few demo projects, can be found on my Github page.
The included Bill of Materials includes a footprint description for the RJ45 sockets. Headers JP2 and JP3 are intended for an address selector addon board wich is, at this time, still under development. J1 to J8 are intended for screw terminals.
