This is a kit to make an ATTINY85 based 12V Neopixel controller inc 12V to 5V DC-DC Converter. Ideal for automotive applications.

I designed this for use driving lights on a Round Table Santa's Sleigh, where we were utilising Adafruit Neopixel rings.

It included a control pin, which can be used to change lighting scene or reset the ATTINY85.

The following parts are included in the kit:

• 1 x RECOM R-78E5.0-0.5 DC-DC Converter
• 1 x 8 pin DIP Socket
• 1 x ATTINY85 Microcontroller
• 1 x 1k Resistor
• 2 x CAMDENBOSS CTB3051/3BK Wire-To-Board Terminal Block, 3.5 mm, 3 Ways, 1 mm²
• 1 x PCB

To make use of the kit you will also need: (not included)

• 12V power supply or battery (such as a car battery)
• A way of programming the ATTINY85 (although it does come programmed with some basic patterns)
• Neopixels such as the Neopixel Ring from Ada fruit.
• Wire to connect everything together.
