Fabric Shield is a PCB designed to simplify the wiring for Arduino projects. It allows you connect Arduino Nano controller to

• 4 DC/servo motors
• GPS, WiFi/Bluetooth, RF modules
• Gyroscope, Magnetometer, IMU, Ultrasonic distance sensors, IR distance sensor and more
• micro SD card module
• Raspberry Pi (yes, you read it right)

Why did you make it?

Last year, when I created my first robot (without Fabric Shield of course), very soon that I found wiring was a big problem. It took me long time to debug issues cause by wrong connections, loose connections and etc. In addition, I hooked up many sensors and breakout boards to my robot. As a result, the wires are running all over the place.

I created Fabric Shield to eliminate all these wiring issues.

What makes it special?

It is the first and only board (that I am aware of) which has such a rich connectivity and still being so compact (4x3 inches). It is a robot chassis, motor driver and level shifters on a single PCB.

What is included?

One fabric shield PCB is included. Sensors, motors and other accessories are not included.
