What is it?

It is a minimal breakout board for the TI MSP430 value line PDIP microcontrollers, such as:

• MSP430G2553
• MSP430g2452
• And compareable

Additional 3.3V power circuit is possible with linear regulators such as:

• LM1117T-3.3 TO220
• TO220 with same pinout

It includes the possibility to add a reset pushbutton.

Why did you make it?

It is a convenient way to bring launchpad projects from breadboard to a permanet solution.

What makes it special?

• Simple way of getting MSP430 projects running.
• Through hole i.e. easy to solder.

What parts are neccessary to get it running?

• 1x MSP430 Minimal Breakout - Bare PCB
• MSP430 Microcontroller in PDIP package (not included)
• 2x 100 nF Ceramic Capacitor (not included)
• 1x Push Button (not included)
• 1x 47k Resistor (not included)
• 1 × Voltage Regulator 3.3 V or 3.3 V Power Supply (not included)
• 1x Programmer (for example Launchpad and jumper wires)
