This is a DIY CNC kit from Shapeoko. I ordered it back in 2012 for $599 new and used it only a couple of times before shelving it. A little dusty but in great condition. I'm selling it to free up space in the lab and I don't have the time to work on reassembly and tuning. I think it would make a great kit for any hardware hacker out there, it includes 3x nice NEMA stepper motors, an Arduino UNO, a stepper shield (motor shield), a nice rotary tool, the maker slides, a spill board, and a bunch of hardware. You can see all the parts included on the official Shapeoko site. And even if you don't use the kit to build a Shapeoko, the parts alone are worth the price!

The Shapeoko went on to iterate on this design and now you can buy a Shapeoko 3 for $999 but you can get a lot of the same functionality with this kit. So if you're looking for a starter DIY CNC kit then this is a great option.

Couple of things to note: - I cracked open the power supply in a wild night of hardware hacking and no longer have the cover but it still works fine. - I can guarantee all the critical pieces are included (like bearsing, belts, couplings, etc) but there is a massive amount of miscellaneous hardware (like washers, bolts, nuts, etc) so I can only guarantee that 99.9% is there. You may need to run to the hardware store for an odd washer or bolt, but those should be easy to find.

The kit comes disassembled but the assembly instructions on the Shapeoko site are straightforward. Should you ever need to contact Shapeoko the serial # for this machine is #983, this will tell them which batch of machines this came from.
