What is it?

This is a module that lets you receive commands from MIDI enabled device. A small PCB (40.64mm x 25.4mm) hosts a quality DIN-5 jack (by CUI) and Sharp opto-isolator as well as supporting components in accordance to the latest MIDI standard. The input is optically isolated so you won't have any ground loop issues.

How To Use?

All you need to do is hookup the 5V, GND & Tx line and you are ready to receive MIDI messages via a micro-controller that is setup correctly to receive messages at 31250 baud rate.
