Microplate LED board for 3mm through hole LEDs designed for illumination of 96-well and 384-well microplates

This product listing is for a set of unpopulated circuit boards that can be configured to illuminate 96-well or 384-well microplates with 3mm through hole LEDs. For each microplate density (96-well and 384-well), the LED matrix circuit board is sold with an accompanying board that resistors can be added to. The two boards were originally designed to function as an Arduino shield stack for the Arduino Mega 2560. As such, 2.54mm headers can be soldered onto the LED matrix boards to plug into 2.54mm female pin header socket connectors on the board with resistors which can then be plugged into an Arduino Mega 2560 via 2.54m headers. 2.54mm headers and header socket connectors are not included in this listing. An example photo of a 384-well light panel LED matrix, control circuitry, 3D printed standoffs (not included) and an Arduino Mega (not included) are shown to demonstrate one possible configuration.
