What is it?

This is a solar energy harvester specifically designed for low power applications that need a constant power supply of 3.3V

Why did you make it?

I made this board to use in radio application (remote weather station over sigfox network). This board can recharge the capacitor very quickly, even in cloudy weather.

What makes it special?

This board is supplied with a solar pannel of 0.45W and two 10F super capacitors! It can permanently supply a load without interruption. Lower (and cheaper) capacitors can be plugged as long as they have a voltage of 2.7V.

Inputs/Outputs:

Vin : Solar panel input - 5.1V max
Vout : 3.3V
VBat : Voltage image of supercapcitors (0 - 5.1V) - Can be plugged on an ADC via a dividing bridge to know how much voltage it remains.
