This board includes footprints for the Atmel chip, a voltage regulator, a crystal, optional I2C pull-up resistors, and an optional analog Vref capacitor. Plus! There are extra prototyping footprints on the bottom side of the board. All connector pads are on 0.100" centers, so this board can be plugged into a standard breadboard, and it has mounting holes. Sweet!
We use this chip all the time around the shop for prototyping all sorts of ideas and concepts. Need a quick A-to-D converter, use an ATtiny44A! Need to drive a seven segment display, use an ATtiny44A! Instead of hand building these circuits from scratch all the time, we finally decided to make this into a real prototyping board. So here it is.
It's small, it's cheap, and it's awesome. We've got a few variations to offer, so you'll find the right fit for your project:
If you order a variant with a regulator or crystal, the required capacitors will also be on there for you. If you need long tail headers for this board, we've got those, too.
