I have always liked to make things with my hands. This small little board is in almost all my projects now. It it my go-to board at work and at home. There are about 20+ boards active this very moment that control blinds, coffee pot(s), acquire data and manage my garage door :). I can tell you, the wireless mesh capabilities are a godsend when it comes to cable management.

I made quite a lot of these boards and plan to do more so i thought about sharing my project with the community.

So I present to you the NANDFarm RFarmer.

Based on the 8 bit ATmega256RFR2 chip, it features:

• 2.4 GHz ZigBee Transciever with up to 2 Mb/s data rate, Hardware MAC and AES security
• Comes pre-programmed with the bootloader for serial programing.
• 256K Flash, 8 K EEPROM, 32K SRAM
• 6 timer/counters
• RTC with installed oscillator.
• 2 U(S)ART ports (one for FTDI)
• FTDI 232 serial port
• 3.3V, 600mA LDO
• Reset button and power led
• Connector for external antenna
• JTAG and SPI programming interfaces (compatible with USBASP).
• Maximum power consumption for AVR and RX/TX: 10 mA / 19 mA
• The board can be powered form an USB port of from a battery via the power header.
• Each board is manually programmed and inspected by me :) (control freak)
• All the files(schematic, PCB, BOM) are open source and on my HackADay.io page.
