The NTK14-84VU (v3.0) kit is an improved version of the LM3915 Audio Level Indicator (LED VU Meter). The Circuit and PCB are custom designed and tested to offer a better quality and response in comparison to other kits that maybe for sale anywhere else. As a DIY Kit, it will require assembly and soldering; however, I have designed the PCB for easy component placement and soldering. The improved version v3.0 includes the following features:

Custom Made PCB Design.
Improved Audio Response by utilizing a Pre-Amp.
Better Dual Mode (Bargraph or Dot) Visualization.
Bargraph or Dot Mode is switch selectable.
Added DMCH (Dot Mode Capacitor Holder) for better response when in Dot Mode.
DMCH is switch selectable (On or Off).
Better Control over total current-sinking by the LM3915.
Power Diode added to avoid reverse-voltage burning/damage.
Mountable PCB by Four-Corner holes.
Easy pluggable Power and Audio Cables (provided in Black/Red as shown in images).
Audio Signal Input Sensitivity can by adjusted by the blue-pot.
