The SmartMatrix Frame Kit adds a way to easily mount a SmartMatrix Shield or SmartMatrix SD Shield and 32x32 P6 RGB Matrix Panel in an attractive shadowbox picture frame. The kit includes an 8"x8" piece of specialty lighting acrylic that does a great job at diffusing the lights on an LED matrix display to give an attractive picture, and a custom cut 8"x8" laminated paper mounting board with holes for the Shield and RGB Matrix Panel to attach. Mounting screws for the are board provided.

These two pieces are designed to fit specific 8"x8" shadowbox picture frames that are available across the US for $11 or cheaper. Depending on the depth of the frame, you get either a pixelated look, or an abstract look where the lights blend together. The video demo shows the 32x32 panel with the deeper frame with an abstract look. A video and picture of the kit with a pixelated frame will be added soon.
