Read More…We made it for those who want to easily create a regulated voltage of 3.3V using a range of input voltage from 1.8V to 5.5V. Compared to other buck/boost converters, the current output it can support it relatively high and can reach 1.6A with a 5.5V supply. In addition, the TPS63001 is of QFN type and it pretty tricky to solder by yourself unless you have the right tools and experience. With this breakout board you are good to go with no need to waste your time with unnecessary soldering.
No such breakout board exists for this popular component except for the TI EVM which you can get for $49 on their store. This makes the board unique and very affordable.

Jumper wires could be connected to the pin headers for input and output signals.
In addition, in case jumper wires are not enough for you, there is a female connector from JST (P/N: B2B-PH-SM4-TB(LF)(SN)) which allows for a stronger and more secure connection for the input. The matching male connector which you would need in that case is also from JST (P/N: PHR-2).
