Overview

This is SquareWear v2.4, an Arduino-based open-source wearable microcontroller board. This version measures 1.7"x1.7" in size, and has a built-in LIR2032 rechargeable Lithium coin battery. It also has a number of integrated components (see below). Best of all, it's based on Arduino, so any program that runs on Arduino can run on SquareWear v2.4!

Details

ATmega328 microcontroller. Programming is done in the Arduino software.
On-board RGB LED to display color, and mini-buzzer to make sound.
On-board light sensor (10K photo-resistor) and temperature sensor (MCP9700) to help you build light and temperature-aware projects.
On-board LIR2032 rechargeable Lithium coin battery to get you started powering your projects right away!
On-board 2.0mm JST jack for powering the board with an optional external LiPo battery.
Build-in mini-USB port for: 1) charging; 2) uploading a program; 3) serial communication (HID class, no driver needed).
On-board general-purpose pushbutton, Lithium charger (MCP73831), N-Channel MOSFETs (for switching high current), 250mA 3.3V linear regulator.
8 Digital Pins (Arduino D0, 1, 3, 5, 6, 10, 11, 13), 4 Analog Pins (Arduino A2, 3, 4, 5). 6 of the pins (4 at the corners and 2 at the center) have enlarged size that allows you to solder sew-on snaps.
The package includes one assembled and tested circuit board, with rechargable coin cell battery. Mini-USB cable is NOT included.
