Why did you make it?
This board is intended to be used as a HAT, thus enabling the rapid identification and protection of the raspberry IO pins.
What makes it special?
This HAT utilizes the 5V and 3.3V rails in the raspberry for the logic level shifting allowing a small and compact design, all of the IO pins with crucial function are broken out and label on the board, also it is bi-directional (no more selecting between input or output) this means that it supports most common bidirectional and unidirectional digital interfaces ( I²C, SPI, 1-Wire, and asynchronous TTL serial).
